The STM-PT series is a electric resistance sensor, the technology is a metal changes at a fixed rate according to
temperature changes. The resistance bulb uses this property to measure temperature. Theoretically, any metal may be used, but because of characteristics such as constant resistance change with temperature, interchangeability and high temperature coefficient, there are few metals suitable for application. We are using platinum(Pt) as a sensor material.
